Works well, confusing interface

I have used this for a couple of weeks now, and it works well and looks good EXCEPT the interface is confusing.

What you want is to put in start and end stations and have it find the shortest route, fine. It looks like this app can do that, but I get lost in the application. Many times when I want to put in a station (e.g. End station) it wont let me - I must be on the wrong screen!

What it needs is a "New Journey" button which appears on EVERY PAGE. Getting back to a "home screen" (is there one?) in this app is very confusing, navigation around the app is not intuitive.
